Geek is the new cool and has taken on a different meaning and a Geek plays a critical role in the present and future phase of civilisation by creating solutions that have meaning to help humanity survive in this smart growing world. Technology is only good in the hands of the people (or users if you may).
As champions of the local Geek Culture, Geekulcha seeks to recognise, celebrate and help elevate the next best tech things in the country and has thus, created the annual Top 15 Young Geeks profiling platform to recognize local talent as they find their way and build solutions for humanity.

This programme has exposed hidden talents in different parts of the country to showcase what the country can do. Since 2017, the Top 15 Young Geeks iprogramme has gotten recognition from local and international organisations such as the Microsoft Imagine Cup, American Corner and other platforms. The 2020 and 2021 editions recognised efforts of the local Geekulcha in the midst of the pandemic and how local geeks strived to enterprise mankind.
As Covid-19 pandemic is still with us, Geekulcha continues to recognize the efforts of the local Geek Culture in navigating through the pandemic and building solutions that helps make Technology to be a mainstream problem solver.
A Year of Efficient Capability
The 2022 edition of the Top 15 Young Geeks blows a horn on the Geeks that have demostrated a greater degree of adapting and acquiring skills faster to develop and accustom the needs of the people efficiently. "In 2022, we are unearthing insightful and indeed, foresight young tech leaders doing the things in the space to help humanity through technology", says Tiyani Nghonyama, COO of Geekulcha.
This recognition looks at the work from June 2021 to June 2022 and winners will be announced 01 June 2022. #Top15YoungGeeks looks at at Geeks of 15 - 35 years old and covers all fields/sector of ICT.

Nominations are open and the public may nominate the Top 15 Young Geeks of 2022 are open until 30 April 2022 and geek may nominate him/herself.
