The work of Naledi Nguse

Naledi Nguse demonstrates exceptional versatility and impact through her diverse portfolio of projects. Her journey began remarkably early, managing community projects at age 13 where she led playground construction initiatives at Charles Hugo and Ndongeni Primary Schools through GoLEAD SA. Her technical prowess is evidenced through "Edulifeplan," a digital solution that earned her recognition as a finalist in the MTN Foundation SA ICT Challenge.

Currently, she's making significant strides in digital transformation through her work with Sandile Mahlaba from GoDigitalSA, where she conducts comprehensive Digital Skills training programs. These sessions go beyond basic digital literacy, incorporating advanced concepts like 4IR (Fourth Industrial Revolution), design thinking, and 3D printing technologies.

Her hands-on approach includes demonstrating emerging technologies like drones and 3D printers, effectively bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. She is also the founder of iLikeSTEM a social enterprise preparing children and the youth for the Future World of Work by teaching them in-demand skills, helping them gain industry insights and preparing them to be job market ready.
