ABOUT IMAN NGWEPE-NTSHIBIDA

As black female, originally from Atteridgeville, Pretoria now staying in the village of eNyoni, in Inanda, Durban. She has seen how much the youth in particular girls are not exposed to tech related fields. On a micro level she educates people in her community of the opportunities available in tech.

She is an alumni of Women Techsters Fellowship 2023 in Data Science and AI track, during her training she was involved in a tech girls drive where she gave talks at a rural school to encourage young girls to choose tech related courses.

She has also taken part in the MTN App Academy, Girl Code and Wentors programs. She is was chosen for the 2nd cohort of Flapmax, FAI Institute's Women in AI program. She is currently also an intern in a cloud security internship with LGIT Smart Solutions.
