UN Women Hackathon 2015

If you’re keen on finding tech-based solutions that can help advance socio-economic status and gender equality for women, then join Geekulcha and UN Women as they host a hackathon this women’s month.
The UN Women Hackathon will see young techies, both male and female, coming together to come up with innovative solutions to challenges faced by women around the world.
The hackathon will be looking at tools such as Android and web development, to cloud platforms, data projectors, social networks and graphic design programs.
More details on the hackthon’s challenges will be made available soon.
The UN Women Hackathon will be held at the CodeTribe Academy at The Innovation Hub in Pretoria from Friday, 7th August to Sunday, 9th August. Registration is free and is open on Eventbrite.
