Raeketsetsa and IBM Design Training

Raeketsetsa,a movement aimed at empowering girls and young women in South Africa’s ICT sector. This is a Geekulcha programme to provide, empower and enable Female Geeks to do it themselves.Raeketsetsa champions and supports projects that seeks to uplift, protect and elevate women/girls through digital or technological tools. These would include projects that helps curb Gender Based Violence; Basic literacy skills for women in rural/remote areas; Capacity building in the tech space; And others.
Raeketsetsa, a movement aimed at empowering girls and young women in South Africa’s ICT sector, has announced the Design Thinking Training workshop it will be hosting in partnership with computing giant IBM later this month.
The workshop will provide basic online design training for female students already in the ICT space or interested in joining and learning more about it.
The event is free and will be hosted at the Code Tribe Academy at the Innovation Hub in Pretoria on the 30th May from 11am until 3:30pm.
