In collaboration with Andela, Geekulcha recruited and trained 400 mentors (train-the-trainer) and over 7 000 learners with a selection of 4041 learners. Mentors and learners were supported to gain Microsoft Azure qualifications, to promote their ability to gain employment as cloud developers.

In addition to managing the virtual community of mentors and learners, Geekulcha organised and facilitated multiple webinars to promote the benefits of learning Microsoft Azure, for learners to network with current Microsoft employees and hear about their career journeys, and to support learners to register for and prepare to take Microsoft Azure examinations.
