The CodeBridge Youth Programme by OpenUp aims to develop the capacity of the youth across the nine provinces, in order to contribute to sustainable and enhanced public participation and engagement, through civic technology, drafting and revision of Youth policies and public participation empowerment guides. 

In 2020, Geekulcha partnered with OpenUp to design and deliver a data literacy training module in Howick Town, KZN
