Join a journey to hack the future
The Geekulcha Hackathon is an annual event that brings together young developers, creatives, data and tech enthusiasts from across South Africa and neighbouring countries. It spans through a three days of intense innovation and collaboration in a physical and virtual set-up. Throughout the weekend, mentors with diverse expertise are available to guide participants as they develop their solutions.
An open call for registration is hereby made for interested and eligible participants to register and thereafter, a selection process will be undertaken in consideration of geographical representation, proposed solutions, skills compliment onto team and a vision for the continent.
Participants will be free to use technologies of their capabilities but partners will put forward training and enlightenment sessions to help them prepare and building their solutions ahead and at the hackathon.
Outputs of the hackathon will be in the form of:
- Mobile apps
- Web Applications
- Data Visualisations
- Web Services
- IoT / Hardware Solutions
- Report on models training
